Darkest Lariat has a bit more BP than Crunch so it's worth running. But Incineroar missed out on the actual good dark moves like Sucker Punch, Pursuit and Knock Off. No one would use Darkest Lariat otherwise. Decidueye is the only one that lucked out because physical ghost attacks are shit.

I think the problem is that it has a downside. Neither Spirit Shackle or Darkest Lariat have any downside specific to the move in the same way Sparkling Aria does. Have any sort of downside, even if it's still "balanced" rubs people the wrong way. Now, if it was like Smelling Salts and doubled the damage, or even just did more, if it hit a Pokemon with burn people definitely wouldn't complain about it healing burns.

Some might still complain, I suppose, but it wouldn't get nearly as much of a focus. Losing burns is pretty not attractive.

She's the best in singles and Incineroar will be the best in VGC when it gets Intimidate. Owl also has a nice niche and can be used effectively in UU.

I've seen it used well in ubers, but I can say the same of ditto. Unlike ditto it has actual stats so it isn't going to be that guy in PU that's viable everywhere. More likely RU or NU if the current UU persists.

Is Primarina the only starter that runs its non-hidden ability? Liquid Voice is utterly useless, even if you care about subs/accuracy you just use Sparkling Aria, so Liquid Hyper Voice has no reason to exist. Even if it's super niche at least Torrent has an use

Liquid Hyper Voice is useful in doubles, since Sparkling Aria hits your ally. It's a really bad ability right now and completely useless in Singles, i just hope Primarina gets Boomburst in the future

Think about it, for there to be a decidueye in smash bros there needs to be one in the anime. If ash gets litten And it turns into it fully evolves into incineroar leaving rowlet a comedy relief backpack Bird then. That wouldn't make to much sense. Cuz if you don't know, ash has too much strong fire and dark types. Charizard,infernape crookadile,greninja. So adding another one would be really redundant if you ask me. And kukui seem to fit incineroar more. Just look at littens eye shape and look at kukui's they seem way too simular to be ignored. And their is a reson why ash didn't catch litten. So kukui can catch it later on the session. And when kukui's torracat meets rowlet for the first time. It starts a quick rivalry. And my be even changes Rowlet's personality. I think that's why rowlet and litten never ment face to face before.
