You have shit taste. Bakugan was a classic. The merchandise was fun as fuck and there was an actual story to the anime which was dark.

The only thing that can be on the same level is bey blade and maybe yugioh. Pokemon's merchandise is shit tier.

I can't since when it aired I was already too old for toy franchise anime.

Bakugan died because of power creep and having to buy new toys everytime stuff got stronger. It got so bad that the first couple bakugan couldn't beat the lowest power new ones even with the best cards.

And because of that and parents not wanting to buy their kids a new one every month or so to even stay stable in power, the franchise lost worth snd crashed.

It was super popular in canada for some reason. Hell Canada pretty much paid for the final season because the nips had lost interest and were going to cancel the whole thing. It wasnt THAT popular in the US compared to, say, beyblade.
