Obviously, Gold shouldn't be able to trade with different versions of himself through GTS, a feature introduced in the main game, so it should be considered non-canon. If it makes no sense and does not fit, then it is non-canon. If it does make sense and contradicts nothing, it is canon. Again, what's so hard to understand?
