The best part about playing in japanese is that the dex gives us weight and height measures that's actually readable my normal people.

You can choose since gen 5.

Hiragana only is great for people who are beginning to learn the language.

Though in SM the script feels pretty weird and rigid. It's like they translated it rushed from english.
