They're nice designs certainly. I'd say Greninja is definitely better than that fake frog but as much as I like Delphox and Chesnaught, those other designs are pretty cool too and I'd be fine with them as split evolutions.

Pokemon evolve, not become predictable, grown up versions of their previous forms. Most fan evolutions look like the latter. When comparing real evolutions to fan made ones, it's not difficult to see at all.

Only the Frogadier 2.0 is a good fakemon.
The badger isn't too terrible, but the fox seems exclusively based on Fennekin and completely ignores Braxien.
I hope these weren't done by the same artist.

People need to look at the starters (and most three-stage lines for that matter) and notice how the first and final stage look nothing alike at first glance, but a second take reveals subtle patterns and themes that were prevalent throughout the line. Three-stage lines are meant to mirror the awkward development from child to teen to adult and most people who are thirty-six don't look or act like they did when they were six.

Better than the original, and not even bad itself, but doesnt follow Braixen well, keep the design ideas, add mage motiff and make it biped.

Oh yeah, if only because tongue scarf will always be the dumbest design choice ever, and that is basically Greninja but angular and more black.

So basically, yes, gen6 last evos were not completely awful, but pretty disappointing.

Chesnaught looks good on 2D, but it's 3D model looks fat and awkward, and Delphox is way too underwhelming and barely plays with it's wizard theme, if it wasn't for it's ''wand'' you wouldn't be able to tell what it's trying to be.
