That's not even mentioning that Kanto Pokémon are more common that Alola Pokémon in SM. Gen 7 was a mistake.

About 20% of all Pokémon are from Gen I, so a quarter isn't a crazy rate, particularly considering that many of them are actually Alola Forms.

Yeah. There's 300 Pokemon in the Alola Dex and 84 available from Island Scan. Each one of the 28 Pokemon found through that thing is part of a three-stage evo line.
