My wife's birthday is coming up in about three weeks, and I wanted to get her a gift. She LOOOOVES mimikyu, like to an unhealthy level, and I wanted to get her a special one to use in game. Not just a shiny, but the perfect shiny mimikyu. Perfect EVs and IVs and everything. But I have never bothered with shiny hunting or EV training and I have no idea where to start to bring this all to a head. I would even appreciate just a point to some relevant reading material and I would work it out on my own, but I'd still appreciate any advice you could give me.

I also really don't want a wonder trade for someone else's work, I want this to be my own effort for her.
