Dusclops is superior to Dusknoir as a tank but not as an attacker, obviously. Not sure why people try to run it as a bulky attacker.
Dusclops is bad (as a tank) for two reasons: knock off being buffed and no reliable recovery. I can assure you that if either of those changed in dusclops favor, it will be bumped up a few tiers on their autism scale.
It's best used in doubles as it is great in setting up trick room, inflicting burns, and helping sweepers score the KO by crippling opponents with night shade and pain split.
