I personally think there should be a change in status conditions to have tiers of a condition. Poison sort of has this with regular poison and toxic poison but I think three different tiers of status condition (light, regular,severe) for each condition would be interesting. Poison would be 1/16 chip damage for light, regular poison for regular and toxic poison for severe. Sleep would be 1-3 turns for light, regular sleep for regula, and a full 5 turns guaranteed for severe. Burn would be 1/16 chip damage for light, gen 7 burn for regular, and gen 6 burn for severe. Paralysis is changes to the chance of a not being able to attack and how much speed is decreased.
