Mew as well. Every generation has a cute spritely little mythical Pokemon. At least both Mewtwo and Genesect are engineered in some way, but it only draws further differences with mew and victini because Genesect is not a clone of Victini, or related to it in any way.
Gengar/Chandelure, and Gothitelle/Alakazam are also shakey at best. The only similarity is typing and number of evolutionary stages, whereas the similarities between Paras/Dwebble, Voltorb/Foongus, Poliwag/that thing, the Hitmons and Sawk and Throh, and Zubat/Swoobat are on a conceptual and thematic level rather than just typing.
