>>31225926Pretty much this, although TPCi introduced even more problems on top of keeping the ones 4Kids had, namely shorter and vastly shittier intros, giving Ash slang dialogue, and having Team Rocket speak in alliterations, slang, rhymes, and even more music replacement scoring (something even 4Kids stopped doing from Movie 4 to the end of their tenure with the films), etc.
The dub had its editing and errors goofs during the 4Kids era (which it still has now in the TPCi era, they recently had Vivillion use Stun Spore when it was Sleep Power in the original and censored the Ash crucifixion scene in XYZ), but at least the voice acting, scripting, and music were actually tolerable in that Era and not ear-rape like TPCi's are.
