Additionally, the whole point of fighting types is that they stand out from other elemental types because of their focus on martial arts and being humanoid. This is like accusing a grass type of being generic because it has leaves or flowers, or an electric type for being yellow and with lightning patterns on it. Newsflash, that's what makes the type distinct.
So not only are there very few fighting types focusing on musculature, you are also criticizing a design for bringing into the table something different from many other designs/types as generic. Quite the irony.
