Currently going for a mixed Tapu Koko. Is having HP Ice an absolute necessity? I don't want to have to SR for it if I don't have to, but I will if it matters that much. At the very least, should I SR for it even just to have it at some other point?

I SR'd for it, with timid synchro abra. Probably took me around 25-30 SR's before I got my timid hp ice koko.

A lot of people run grass knot as an alternative, but I've preferred having consistent 60 base power over the weight variable on grass knot. Even if you don't keep hp ice, its still nice to have it around if you ever want to change his moveset or anything.
