Better than many Pokemon games if I say so.>>31258784It's kind of like Pokemon but not quite. The game focuses heavily on fetch quests where you have to find certain items or Yo-kai in order to do something or defeat a Yo-kai to make it stop possessing someone. The main story is not that long but there's A LOT of optional stuff to do and that's where most of the gameplay comes.
The battle system is kind of weird since your Yo-kai are essentially fighting on their own. You have six of them in your party and three are on the field at the same time, and during the battle you can freely rotate them in real time to change your battlers. Your job is is to give them items (recovery and buffing), execute special moves (done by doing mini games like drawing on the screen or spinning a wheel) and cure them when they are inspirited (=debuffed by the opponent).
