Call the BW anime shit all you want (I agree for the most part) but it definitely had the best characters and character interactions and so I have a huge soft spot for it compared to the XY anime that felt really bland, despite the great battles

The regular storyline from banned episodes until the League is shit, but Decolora Islands, N Episode and the first 24 episodes were amazing as fuck.

What are you smoking? It was a complete let down. Charizard did shit. Team Plasma was underwhelming as shit. The TP finale had pure garbage animation there Ash did shit even though the OP hyped up Charizard vs Reshiram. It was a complete failure. And Decolora islands was good because it had nostalgia grab episodes like the butterfree one or Clair one.

Some of the early BW filler, Don battle tournaments and secondary rivals like Stephen, Bianca, Georgia and Burungly were fun.

That's actually the biggest problem with BW. It had all these great supporting characters and then just abandoned them. The only rivalry that actually got an ending was Ash and Trip and even that was rushed.
