Question: Are illegally injected mons allowed in Battle Spot?
I just had a battle where I was using Tapu Lele against an enemy Mega-Gyarados. Had just lost my Nihilego and the Mega-Gyarados is at +2 speed. I figured I would be safe switching in Lele, because she's Timid, 30IVs speed, 252EVs in speed & scarfed, which I always considered the equivalent of +2 speed. I go for the Moonblast, which should KO, and I'm outsped.
Mega-Gyara is base 81 speed, Lele is base 95.
Am I missing something here? How is this possible?
