I absolutely despise the random "X landed a crit so it would be praised !" shit, I just encountered my very first shiny (It was the exeggutor that attack Lillie when you get into exeggutor island, I even thought it was a story shiny at first) and, of fucking course, Mimikyu crit him for a billion damage with a non effective move just because I rubbed his stupid face in refresh a few times
