Really like this. The mega effect is so disappointing, but Tyranitar disruptions will probably mean scores of 200/250k.

According to leddit, these are the prices:
Lv50: 1× Mega Speedup.
Lv75: 1× Skill Swapper.
Lv100: 1× Skill Booster M.
Lv125: 1× Mega Speedup.
Lv150: 2× Raise Max Level.
Lv175: 2× Mega Speedup.
Lv200: 3× Raise Max Level.

It will probably be a 200 stages escalation.

Same effect-ish. Crowd Control will give damage for Politoed icons, Flash Mob will give damage for every water-type icon. Keldeo-O outclasses Politoed entirely.

Ledian is one of those sparkling "rare" stages, so it's probably not too common. Found it once, had to use 2 Great Balls on the fucker. Should've used one on Ledyba the one time I saw it and it got SCP up to 79%, but I was worried about throwing a GB at that percentage. If I had, I would've been done by now, lesson learned. Next time there's a safari with only 2 mons I need, I'm tossing Great Balls as soon as I can, I wish I was grinding Kingdra right now.

Side note though, the "rare" mons are probably not that rare this time around. First batch of hearts had Forretress and Noctowl back to back, and then back to back again 2 hearts later, with Noctowl showing up first in the second batch of hearts too (and Ledian).

So now there's only Aggron, Gallade and Pinsir left, right? What are they going to do with main stages bosses once they run out of mega evolutions?

We have those shiny and winking megas, I guess, but I don't think they'd work because they still use the same mega stones used by their regular counterparts.

Primals, or the shinies can be bosses in the sense that Hoopa-U was a boss. No jewel or fanfare after beating it, but it's a really tough stage with a really strong mon to catch from it.

Gold sparks = Uncommon
Blue sparks = Rare
You will notice that Ledian, Noctowl and Forretress apear quite often and have golden sparks, while Houndoom is the really rare pokemon of this safari and as such has Blue sparks.
Though i have heard about people having trouble finding Ledian

let me make this clear to you anon.

You absolutely want to grind Kingdra to lv5. You only need 70psb to reach max level and have amazing activation rates (50/80/100 wtf). Yes, I know the frog exists. And yes, you still want to grind kingdra despite:

1. Just like Mind-Zap, Whirlpool will work on every type. No exceptions
2. Its the perfect ability to work with Mind-Zap together. Just like Sleep-charm/Constrict with Mind-Zap it will keep stalling the disruption countdown (btw Constrict is another greatly under appreciated ability)
3. Even if you are not autistic, getting whirlpool to lv3 (9psb) or lv4 (30psb) will pay off.
4. the activation increase is ridiculous. lets compare whirlpool with paralyze (kek feralishitr).

Whirlpool Lv3 (9psb): 40/70/100
Paralyze lv3 (9psb): 18/38/88

tldr: go grind kingdra

actually really glad they gave it that effect. Ice types just love to spam barriers and there are quite a few stages that reshiram just cant handle. Just think about how easy it will be to grind vanilluxe and glalie now thx to mega dog.

2. Celebi EB
Yet another psychic type escalation. If you still havent given absol a medium cookie, now might be the perfect time. Also glad to see we get new unique escalations and not just repeats after repeats

3. Politoed
JUST
GS pls... biggest shuffle fuck up for this year. Not only is it instantly outclassed, but also does CC make no sense on it. Sleep Charm would be this much better and would make more sense

Try to put him to sleep with Shaymin. Or delay his disruptions using Bellossom. Breloom has Rock Break ++, so it might help, too. Also M-Fug is great for this, but if you don't have it, try using M-Gengar.

Kingdra grinding's going pretty good so far. I tried using a team of Fug, Shaymin (skill level 4), Bellossom (skill level 4) and my level 8 Sunflora, and while I was winning every time, the victories were a little too close for comfort. I swapped Sunflora out for my level 15 Electivire (skill level 4) and I've had a nice 5-6 turn buffer at the end of every attempt. Raikou would be fine in that last slot too.

It was a stand alone Great Challenge that ran about 3 times, I think. It'll be back someday. In the meantime, Ludicolo is a clone of it, but it's an expert stage so I don't know if you have that either.

getting it to lv5 will result in 4 and 5 matches always activating (just like in the glorious past). And CC does damage the more same icons there are on the board. If you just got 4 icons you will almost no damage. And if there are like 15 you will do a lot of damage. But this was before we got access to good Risk Takers. So even if half the board is the same icon you will never ever come close to a lv15 risk taker skill level 5

The thing about Keldeo is, that it has flash mob. And you would only use it in water teams and hence know exactly you will deal around 1.1k damage. The consistency is why you use it. On lv5 it will activate two out of three times on 3 matches. 4 and 5 matches are guaranteed anyway.

tldr: after we got decent risk takers, cc is nothing more than a meme

I did use an Atk+ to get a juicy 60% catch rate with regular ball, and fed it a medium cookie
Guess my next project is getting feraligatr and Noivern (ho-oh was first try catch) and then coin farming simulator 2017 for the rest of the week because I already caught everyone on the safari

About 0 percent.

We did have a few irregular updates in the past, but those mostly fixed fuckups with escalations or competition reward tables, as well as a few unintended glitches. They didn't add content.

I've been using Mengar, Shaymin, Bellossom, Emolga. It's decent enough, I just think about water stages like this, Manectric and Ampharos always seems like a crapshoot of speed versus power. M-Venusaur with RMLs would probably get some mileage.

What have you been doing with your money? I started last week with 96k coins, grinded Salamence up to SL5, did a full-item run on the comp and beat Mew 450 & 500, never dropping below 80k in the process.

This week has nearly nothing to do in comparison. And you should always have at least 10k coins on hand just in case.

How far are you on the main stages? Unless you really want Kingdra for some reason, I wouldn't worry about it right now. You can catch it on the EX stages later on. BUT! If you have M-Gengar, and some spare cookies, maybe you could take Grovyle's skill to lvl 2 or 3 and give it a try. Honestly though, don't do that.

You don't need SS for Pyroar. And you shouldn't need one for Ho-Oh now that it's outclassed.

Actually on reflection you can use both if the board is disruptions free. I mean, at least Ho-Oh works even when the opponent isn't burned, but that should usually be your first priority.

How much damage do you do?

You can use DD to stop disruptions for a while and AP+ if you don't do enough damage. But only do so if you are sure you can beat it with those items.
