Use Z-Fleur Cannon as the nuke that starts the Soul-Heart snowball, or just to break through a check. Once you start accumulating boosts, Fleur Cannon's -2 becomes -1 thanks the Magearna's ability, and it's so powerful that the drops barely matter.

There's no one single answer to this question. It varies case-by-case, but it's usually better to invest in HP than defenses, unless your HP stat is base 100+.

Ice beam is kind of meh when you consider fleur cannon does like 60% to things like Landorus.

I'd rather slot in HP ground.

I use this, but run flash cannon/dazzling gleam/thunderbolt with steelium z

Even then, investing in HP on mons with 100+ base can still be useful.

Like making sure your subs have 101 HP so chansey can't break them with siesmic toss.
