Mostly its typing. >>31350339 Make it Psychic/Fairy, give it Moonblast, and the other coverage moves it desperately wants (Aura Sphere, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower). Maybe +10 SpAtk and +10 Spe wouldn't hurt either.

I have used it succesfull in VGC teams. Defiant + Adrenaline orb as anti Intimidate tech. Basically gets a Dragon Dance at the start of a match.

Then again, VGC =/= Smogon.
Been a while since I played Smogon 6v6. Has the meta settled already? VGC meta is still shifting. Fini/Ninetales is on the rise now. Extremely bulky. Aurora Veil+Calm Mind is BULK. A-Muk also enjoys Aurora Veil support.

IS Rainbow Muk useful in Smogon 6v6? I fucking loved Muk as a kid, and to see it viable now is just amazing. Even if it's not the Muk I loved a s a kid.

To stay on topic: Accelgor. I fucking love this mon, and am saddened by it's shit status. I like the gimmick evolution, and it looks cool as fuck.

from what I heard he can take hits rather well. I use the one from my playthrough who has 0 special attack ivs who nonetheless dishes some serious damage out on battlespot and most of the time can eat 2 hits or so

it's both. what's funny is scizor is bug/steel and has one weakness, while leavanny gets 6 just because of grass/bug typing.

I feel like final gambit could be could for him, he has quite a bit of HP and that could let him kill something if you feel like switching is too risky or that he might not be able to damage it otherwise. my brother used one a lot in our battles and accelgor did real well with bug buzz and the occasional focus blast. then again, neither of us are competitive, so make of that what you will

Gorgeist is a better wall(insane physical bulk an Synthesis recovery).
Trevenant is a better attacker(Choice Banded attacker. Harvest sets are a double edged sword as it lacks bulk and is Knock Off weak)
