It's not like this thread is about board mascots. It's about Eevee and its evolutions, of which one happens/happened to be the board mascot. Changing what the mascot is doesn't make people suddenly dislike catdogfox things.
If people want to change the board mascot, sure, go for it. It has absolutely nothing to do with people who want to post pictures of cute eevees and eeveelutions.
