Ironically, nothing changed except it received a new move that was already programmed on Gen 6.

It has a bulky subcoil set that very easily gets going but it's not that strong until about +3.

Banded Dog is cool though. I think Chomp still sees more usage though.

Sorry, but if you have a 4x weakness then you can't be called the best at anything. Notice how P-Don and Mega Fug have abilities that cancel out their 4x weaknesses. That's what makes them not shit.

Tell that to Dragonite, Mega Scizor, Tyranitar, Pelipper, Garchomp, Ho-Oh, Heatran, Landorus, Genesect, Hoopa Unbound, Tapu Bulu, Lunala, Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa and Kartana, that despite this they are all OU (with exception of Dragonite who is BL this Gen)

Pokémon very rarely get completely invalidated by a 4x weakness alone; they almost always have some other kind of shortcoming or severe flaw that does it, like awful stats or a barren movepool.

No, but Thousand Arrows buts it on par with the best. Garchomp is still probably the blanket best, Salamence or Mega Zard-X are still probably better setup sweepers, but Zygarde has a niche with its bulk and spammable Stab now.

It absolutely shits on teams after a calm mind boost. Do you not understand what separates an Uber from an OU? Nothing in Ubers that wasn't kicked up there first could be introduced to OU in a safe way. Even things that are actually useless in Ubers, like Solgaleo, Reshiram, or Deoxys-D would shit on OU so hard it isn't funny.

It has nothing to do against Pdon though, and just having Solg on the field is a liability, since Pdon can come in on it and set up unimpeded.
It's the exact same reason Palkia is so utterly shit right not, except with Xerneas instead of Pdon.
