What's the verdict on this thing? Haven't seen it mentioned since it was announced but I remember some talk about its priority-killing ability.

It's... not completely unusable.

Dazzling is definitely a great ability, but you can also use Strong Jaw to take advantage of all those biting moves it gets, especially Psychic Fangs.

Also, it's faster than most of the new Pokemon

Dazzling is discount Psychic Terrain and non-Dazzling Bruxish is bargain-bin Sharpedo, which itself is inferior to Gyarados in this meta

in addition, it resists Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, and Bullet Punch, which are three of the most common priority moves, so Dazzling is somewhat redundant anyway

I'm using one competitively with a Jolly nature, Life Orb and Strong Jaw. Tried Dazzling and apart from getting a few free switch-ins it didn't really do the job for me.

Bred one with Ice Fang, which together with Crunch, Waterfall and Psychic Fangs makes for some very nice damage (plus PF breaks reflect and light screen which is good for cutting down some stallers in the Battle Tree too).

I used a one as a wallbreaker for a while alongside a Tapu Lele. It did it's job (banded strong jaw psychic fangs under psychic terrain is nuts) but ultimately it was too slow amd frail to be useful against more offensive teams.

It's not godawful, but not stellar. It hits like a truck with Strong Jaw, and has access to SD and Bulk Up. It would have been a great cleaner if it had more Speed.

Im not a particularly competitive player, but I really enjoy using Bruxish in battle. I like being immune to Sucker Punch/Golisopod so I run a Jolly nature with Dazzling and Life Orb. Something that was really interesting when I used it in-game was that it is a very fast pokemon with access to disable. Granted that would require some reads if attempted in competitive but its movepool isnt sooo stellar that its completely out of the question.
