THE only time Fire starters were objective the best are Gen 1 and 4.
The rest, not so much. Typhlosion, Incineroar and Emboar are trash, Delphox is a level below that.

Have always liked gen1 blastoise more than charizard. Also Typhlosion was the laziest starter design ever. It's the same fucking mon as the pre evolution but it's standing with more fire. Embroar and battle cat look like neo pet evolutions not pokemon.

I mean, Gen VI is the only Gen with a terrible fire starter, but all of the other Gens just have a better water or grass type. I'll give you Gen VII though.

Fire starters were amazing, but went downhill starting with Infernape, and 5 and 6 just did worse.
I do like Incineroar though, and used it along with Decidueye in Sun, so Gen 7 restored my faith, along with both MegaZards and Mega Blaziken being top tier design.

We also have the best elemental Hyper Beam.
