It looks like a gen 2 design. I feel like it would fit right in with Ampharos, Heraceoss, Typhlosion, and other Johto 'mons.

This literally happened in Gen 1. 190 monsters were created and the ones that didn't get it ended up in Gold Silver.

Also Gastrodon was originally intended to be a Gen 3 Pokemon and was all rocky and stuff.

Bewear barely reminds me of a pokemon at all, it looks like they just took one of those shitty kawaii desu mascots of japanese snacks and put it in the game

also i don't understand why there's a walking plushie/fursuit running around Alola, it would have at least made sense if it was Normal/Ghost and you'd find him in the abandoned market but nope
