Can we have a thread for the other monster collecting games? (Digimon, Monster Rancher and Yo-kai Watch.)

I just grabbed pic related for my flashcart. What to expect? What would /vp/ recommend?

I'm currently playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth.

It's my first Digimon game, and goddamn some of these Digivolution lines are convoluted. The game is still enjoyable, but some of it really makes me appreciate the simplicity of Pokemon.

A very flawed game, tho you may like it if you are a huge Digifan.

also the encounter rates. And in terms of monster collecting games, I'd recommend any Dragon Quest Monsters game on the (3)DS and Digimon Cyber Sleuth for the PS4/Vita. Fossil Fighters is also pretty good as well.

I'm pretty sure in Cyber Sleuth it gets to a point where you can get any Digimon from any Digimon though enough Evolution/Regressions.

It's an amazing game, I played Dawn though. Still it was refreshing after many Pokemon battles back when only DPPl-HGSS were my top played games

Played a long time ago the dawn version, it was pretty fun, but when i got to the late game the process of making your digimon go back stages and then evolving it again and then back again to it's previous stages just so i could get it's stats a little higher than before so i could reach the next evolution was pretty rough
