I always kinda liked the "Ditto was a failed Mew clone" since it doesn't really contradict anything in game and explains some things (why so many in Cinnabar Mansion, why same weight and shiny colors). Too bad I think it was disproven by a dev.

Gen 6,7 vs. Gen 3, 4, 5 vs. Gen 1, 2 vs. Anime universe vs. Manga universe(s) vs. etc. are all AUs connected by the tech in the Delta Episode. Technically, it means you can use the canon to get Red vs. Ash.

No, only the "Gen 6, 7 vs. Gen 3, 4, 5" portion is canon via ORAS. The rest is theory-based via extrapolation (if there are 2 universes, why can't there be 50? Or 100? Or millions? etc.)

Lysandre was right. His Team Flare is one of the most well-planned out and logical of all of the "bad guy" groups in Pokemon.

I actually really like the theory that one of N's caretaker's is Bianca's missing sister. It gives a really believable framing to that subplot with her dad not wanting her to leave home since that kind of thing happened with a lot of cults in the 80's.

A lot of these theories are as edgy as fuck and some of them are borderline OCD in their absolute insistence to have all the tiny minutiae explained. A lot of them just do not require a theory or, one of my more hated phrases, "head canon".

I always liked the idea that a cubone was an orphaned Kangaskan joey. This is sort of confirmed in Sun/Moon because when cubones call for help, a kangaskan shows up.

I like the one about your rival in RBY working with Team Rocket or at least choosing not to antagonize them for the sake of convenience. Also that he was at Pokemon Tower to mourn his Raticate, I believe it was.

I think AZ could be something like an earthly avatar of Arceus unbeknownst to himself, though his design is more reminiscent of Darkrai. His Floette has to be related to Xerneas & Yveltal somehow too. Maybe they were created when it first died.
