Nah, both dogs should have access to Earthquake at least to cover their Steel weakness. I hope when tutors are available at least they get something good.

Day dog is faster and has Accelerock, Midnight Doggo needs those moves to improve.

Adaptability should've been their shared ability instead of Keen Eye. Makes sense because Rockruff adapts and evolves differently. And make Midday Rock/Normal for Adaptability Quick Attack (it's so frail already the 4x weakness hardly matters).

well, i've actually made a set that is pretty effective and sometimes can sweep 1-3 pokemon.
midnight isn't that shitty really, it just is kinda
never used or so, been using it for OU (on showdown) and boy is it fun

That's because they gave every single Gen 7 pokémon family a new move, ability or both. The sole exceptions to this are some Alola forms, the UBs (which all share Beast Boost,) and, ironically, Lycanroc Midnight.

You didn't think they actually just forgot to give Musharna Comatose did you? They'll redistribute all the new exclusive abilities and moves to older mons in the nex games, including Accelerock I'm sure.

What? What pokemon so desperately want Drain Punch? All the ones I can think of who would need it for coverage would rather have of of the much stronger moves that Fighting has no shortage of.

It is something. Stone Edge accuracy is nice. Imagine if they decided to give it Fissure.

I just looked at a list of inaccurate moves. It would be really appreciated if Midnight form got:

>Cross Chop
>Iron Tail (It doesn't get this?)
>Mega Kick (Why not?)
>Hypnosis

Several of the multistrike moves also fit with Lycanroc, especially Bone Rush, because dog. I assume No Guard would make multistrike moves hit all 5 times.

No Guard wouldn't ensure that a multiple-hit move hits the maximum number of times, that's what Skill Link does. No Guard would just make sure that it never missed.
