Because the damage from the second hit is calculated separately from the first hit, and more pokemon learn EQ

Theres a fairy type? Also earthquake has a strong base power without recoil whereas flare blitz has recoil. Sorry if im slow on the uptake havent played since xy

I run mine with bonermarang but that's mainly for sub, sash, disguise, and sturdy breaking.

Grass Terrain is really not all that common and a lot more pokemon can use EQ instead. I don't see why I should put it on him as opposed to Bonermarang
