I figured. I've given him stuff like Double Edge and Swift. Counter is the only fighting type move it learns by leveling up, and Submission is the only move that it actually gets STAB on.

Fuck. Yes. Diglett one of my original pokebros and after he evolved he wrecked the entire game. Giovanni gave me Fissure and i remember thinking "how is this any different from earthquake?"
