I'm trying to understand why gen 2 is so popular.
I played Soulsilver just 2 years ago and can't remember much about it now. The region was alright, I guess, but nothing special or memorable. The level curve was absolutely fucked with the 8th gym only level 38-41 (and things get much, much worse at Kanto). The game was also very short - even with Kanto as you blast through everything and go straight for the gyms since there's not much else to do there.
So tell me, why do you like Gen 2?
