They'd literally be broken with Shell Smash. I don't care if it makes sense or not thematically for their shells to "break" but they'd just be so obnoxious.

Yeah they'd have counters and checks, such as ground and steel types for Koko and Slowbro for Fini, but it would just be unbearable having to lose a mon or two to a +2 on 3 stats Tapu.

Would def be a game changer if they got it.

the unspoken rule/muh pattern of shell smash distribution is that defense has to be your highest or tied highest stat, which is probably why blastoise didnt get it
