never really found battling that great to be honest, if you want to actually succeed it feels kind of limiting in what you can use since the system seems kind of limited from a strategy perspective and unless you've got a really shit player on the other end you can't really work around raw number disadvantages as well, that doesn't feel right to me
but I'm still pretty new to the core games, and I don't have any other friends with a DS really so I don't get to experience the real social part of the game that seems to have made it so cool to a lot of people, trading/cockfighting with faceless strangers on the internet is boring as hell (though I did have more fun WTing boxes of good shit on christmas than I did actually playing the games I guess)
it's really the world, artwork, shitposting and hope for the future that hold up my interest at this point
