Anyone else think this new meta is shit?

It's basically weather wars, mixed in with terrain wars and stupid shit that shouldn't have been made in the first place like ash-ninja. priority is nerfed meaning whoever has the fastest mons pretty much wins. No strategy in thunderwave/toxic because of stupid ass Tapus, this meta seems more cancerous than gen 6.

There are Pokemon who aren't affected by it OR can learn moves to clear hazards away.

Just means you have to prioritize what sorts of moves you want your mons to know and, more broadly, what mons you should have in the first place. Also, Psyduck/Golduck have the Cloud Nine ability, which neutralizes the weather upon switching in (Drampa can have it too, as a hidden ability though).

Be specific, yo. Only Tapu Fini can generate the terrain that prevents status conditions, and a Salazzle can one-shot her with a Sludge Wave or Sludge Bomb. Tapu Koko's electric field only prevents sleep, Tapu Lele's halts priority moves, and Tapu Bulu's restores health.

Not when you have priority moves, Anon. And there are ways to speed up your team or slow your enemy down.

I don't see how that completely ruins the meta forever but okay.
