There's literally no need to remake DP. They're fine as they are. Going by progression, after RS, FRLG came next. Unlike DP, FRLG are unplayably outdated. Those are the game that need remakes.

Learn to read. The games don't even have a fucking Physical/Special split. You can play any previous gen games. By that logic, no game needs a fucking remake. Remakes are, first and foremost, updates. A way to give the newer audience a better way to experience the older games. DP are still playable. FRLG lack fucking Day/Night cycle. Something so fucking simple that romhacks have them. That's how outdated they are.

GF could actually really have a good shot at improving newer regions if not for remakefags. They suck ass with 3D in general so they can't pump out remales and maintain quality.

I'm sure Gen 6 would have been praised more with a Z instead of ORAS, even if Z was just XY with a Battle Frontier

and I can actually tell you why they WOULD, a remake takes significantly less effort than making a whole new game, and you are already guaranteed sales based on the pre-existing fans of the original games, AND they will be completely new games for a whole new generation of kids, so it will be a guaranteed huge profit.

They were memes for a reason because they were literally a joke perpetuated here. If you had looked outside of /vp/ there was an overwhelming outcry for a Hoenn remake since Black and White was released so no one doubted that they would happen eventually.

For Sinnoh on the other hand, well, it's forgotten anniversary says it all. Not to mention the nips hate it.

"Decently" is relative when it barely outsold RSE despite being on a vastly more popular system.
