Granted, it can't OHKO without set-up or Specs, but that is something not a whole lot else can threaten so casually. Versatility thanks to statbrick is the Uber game, son. Much like Garchomp, Darkrai can threaten or bluff with all kinds of crazy sets. It could predict that you might bring Lele in on it, and gamble on a Hypnosis. Or it could come in on a wounded Lele, bluff a scarf and use that opening to set up.
The possibilities are wide, anon. That's what separates an Uber from an OU. Darkrai doesn't threaten as a frail special sweeper and cleaner, no, it *can* do that, or it can take a left turn at crazytown and run a bulky set with it's surprisingly sturdy base 90 defences, and continue to function well as a semi-tank.
Darkrai wasn't Uber because of Dark Void. Darkrai was high Uber because of Dark Void, now it has just fallen into the Ubers pit of "OP as fuck, but directly outclassed by something else". OU's anus still quivers when someone brings up April Fools.
