I've been moving my living dex and stash of legendaries to Y and ORAS. My shit has never been deleted but I've heard so many horror stories. I'm not gonna move anything back until the update.

There are people in this thread RIGHT NOW who don't have CFW and haven't backed up their Gen VI save files with their Living 'Dex. Say what you want about injecting, but there is literally NO excuse for not having a back-up of your save files.

Restart again. I've already dealt with the tragedy of losing all my mons due to a data corruption, so no emotional attachment whatsoever. Every Pokemon I have I got since ORAS came out.

Pokemon are just a few kilobytes of text data, I'd wager the entire bank system isn't holding more than 10 or so terabytes of pokemon files.
