I haven't played Pokemon since Platinum. Have there been any discoveries about generation 1-4 that have happened since then? I want to know since I'm about to replay them.

People found out Gold and Silver's clock reset function was in Crystal too, it just had a much more intricate button combination.

I could never trade or battle to begin with. No one had a link cable, or there were other problems, so I probably traded and battled less than ten times in my life.

You now can pass both parents eggmoves to the offspring.

For example, if you breed a male pineco with power trick and counter with a female gligar with wing attack and metal claw, the gligar offspring will have all the four moves.

A quite good way to mix some interesting attacks. I'm using a wing attack/cross poison/counter gligar thanks to that.
