>>31510954told you niggers they were doing this. Here's the full release schedule
mid-late 2017: VC release of GSC.Gen 4 remakes announced shortly after GSC VC release. Hints for gen 2 starter megas (don't think for one second they gave up on megas, the concept was hugely popular, average players loved them)
Holiday 2018: Gen 4 remakes released. Includes mega stones for gen 2/4 starters, some gen 4 pokemon like Roserade and Staraptor and some choices out of left field as well. Origin Forms for Dialga/Palkia, Origin Form Giratina buffed (similar to the primal concept, they all get auto field effects to make VGC 2020 more interesting), Mega-Arceus. Postgame story arc incorporates the unused Arceus event and Distortion World, links the distortion world to the UBs.
mid-late 2019: Prism announced as a Switch game, people finally understand why Nintendo DMCA'd Pokemon Prism. Set a few years after S/M, different protags. 4 gyms set up in Alola, leaders are Hau/Olivia/Acerola/Hapu, the island challenge is still around, new trial captains, most old trial captains can be found and fought in the postgame. League includes some old faces. Lillie and Gladion return, Gladion is a pseudo-antagonist figure doing the wrong things for the right reasons. Bigger regional dex, still no megas until postgame. More signature Z-moves will be added.
Prism will release in time for holidays in 2019. There will be no new mainline release in 2020, gen 8 starts in 2021 or 2022.
