-The next main game will be the final one for 3DS titled Pokémon Prism, set for release in December
- 20 new forms (16 of these are Alolan forms)
- special attacking lycanroc, mimikyu disguised as marill, psychic/dragon necrozma, and a red magearna are among these
- set in alola with a plethora of new locations
- Gyms make a return
- huge selling point for the game will be the ability to walk with any of your Pokémon
- some of the new alolan forms I've seen were for Gastrodon, Slugma family, and Granbull.
- An event distribution for Ash's Pikachu will launch with the game for international players. Japan will already get access to this event this July by seeing the new movie.
- there are plans to release Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal on virtual console early next year. Will be able to link with Prism.
- Secret Mythical Marshadow is being saved until July 2018
- work on Generation 8 is already close to the mid way point.
