yeah no, I don't fucking think so.
listen to that right after ORAS soundtrack and it sounds like crap. it can't be the recording because it's a clearer sound than that from the GBA.

With the exception of LIttleroot (which is my opinion) the entire ORAS soundtrack is better. It's just nostalgiafags refusing to accept it.

I can't listen to this song without tearing up. It's very nostalgic but also a good song on its own merits. The gen 4 remix is good too but doesn't give me the same rush of emotion.

SM I wouldn't really say anything is iconic yet, though Battle Skull Grunt is a good choice. Battle Kahuna and Nightime Konikoni are my favorites though.

I really disagree with Diantha, but Battle! Gym Leader and Battle! Xerneas/Yveltal are the only two battle themes I liked in XY at all. But man did I like them.
