>>31526455>>31526460They don't even have a point. If you do it for the rewards, fine, they already lowered the requirement by giving you the charms earlier. No reason to remove the actual full dex.
I see a lot of talk about rewards but I couldn't give any less of a fuck about a charm of diploma. I completed the Nat. Dex for its own sake, because I like filling it and seeing all the entries and shit. You know, like it's always been.
>>31526477>or are you just looking for reasons to hate the series? And this is the crux of the problem. /vp/ has gone so deep into bitching and contrarian attitudes that now a "GF Defense Force" has formed, meaning that any criticism implies you hate the series and are never buying another installment.
No, dumbfuck, I'm not looking for reasons to hate the series. I loved S/M. Doesn't mean it has no flaws and that I should eat shit and like it. And the removal of a series staple feature, especially when that translates to zero positive gain for the series as a whole IS something deserving of criticism.
National dex has always been completely optional. Not including it is pure laziness, and people who enjoyed it are rightfully upset. Nothing about the feature alienated new players, and I'm just baffled as to why anyone would claim otherwise, outside of trying to find an excuse for the devs out of blind loyalty.
