Is Alola the worst region yet when it comes to level design? For lack of a better term, I guess.

There are almost no fun and worthwhile places to explore. The overall layout feels very streamlined and linear (never mind how the story railroads you through most of it), the region is tiny and then there's nonsense like the Exeggutor Express or the clearly visible but inaccessible locations like the golf course and power plant.

Poni Island is pretty cool but it's so little. Shouldn't there be more locations like Mt. Ember, Shoal Cave and the Relic Castle?
