The story mode is the Quests option. You can use Full Heal or any other plate that returns a figure to your bench to cure status conditions.

This game is pretty fun.

I installed it as Comaster when it first came out and didn't really care for it. Reading isn't really essential - but it helps to have an idea of what the challenges in Quest are.

I threw $40 bucks at the game to get some good monsters early and make things a bit easier. If you're lazy, Quest mode is "spam AI to win" once you have a good team.

IMHO the figure rarity doesn't always correlate with its usability

You have common shit like Shuppet and Haunter which are immersely more useful than stuff like Empoleon, which is just a basic attacker with a priority (gold) move and meh ability (especially compared to Infiltrator)

This is my current team so far, plus some of the higher ranked stuff in my box. My team has been working pretty well by itself, especially since Gardevoir fucks over Infiltrator Pokemon with it's ability. Leafeon is really useful but should I replace it with Umbreon instead? Toxic seems more useful than Grass Whistle and I don't encounter enough grass types so Leafeon's ability isn't as useful as I'd like it to be

if you just do the daily challenges and check your inbox you get gems which you can use for booster packs and what not

I got shuppet, EX magmortar, absol, squirtle and bulbasaur in my booster. Shuppets really fucking good, most of my opponents don't even know he can go through them. Magmortars really fun to use if you get 2 pokes lined up side by side.

I think you should reroll. Only 1 EX as a starter isn't that good.
If you don't want to reroll, then Giratina seems decent, not the best but not that bad either.

I like using Giratina in conjunction with Emolga's Volt Switch or a Pokemon Switch board. Giratina has really powerful attacks so it's really easy for it to overpower most things, and it's ability lets it slip past enemies (though be careful with this because Giratina can still be trapped, and doing that makes it a lot easier for the opponent to do so)

Does anyone else ever have issues selecting your Pokemon or a space to move to? I feel like my taps on the game board only register about 75% of the time. I almost ran out of time during my last match and wound up making some really stupid moves by mistake. I know it's not my phone since this is the only app I have any issues with.

Jesus, anons, the game tells you how it works.
You can use the evolved form right away.
OR
You put the base form on your deck and click on the blue dots below the mon, then you put the evolved mon in there. During battle, if the base form KOes a mon, it will evolve and get +1 star on purple attacks and +10 on gold/white attacks.

I installed it yesterday. Got the first batch of Start Dash gems and tried to gather enough for a sextuple but failed. Almost uninstalled the game since I don't want to reroll. Then today I heard they gave some more gems so I bought the sextuple booster and got 2 EXs. Pretty happy with it. You should get 2 EX on average for sextuple. Get one and you should consider rerolling. Get 3 or more then you might die soon.

Also, the game is slow as hell. Buttons sometimes don't work, there's no feedback, matchmaking takes forever, game stops everything when trying to connect, and it takes ages to do so. Other mobile games aren't like this. They need to step their shit up, but the way the game is built makes it seem like it'll be almost impossible.

A shame, because the game itself is quite fun.

Also, they clearly didn't read the whole Clash Royale's memo. Chests are 3-3-3-8 so that people play three times a day and leave the 8 hour chest for when they go to sleep. Second chest I get is 24 hours. What the fuck.

They're really good if you use the Pokemon Switch plate to move them further into enemy territory or use them to defend. They're usually extremely strong, but their mp serves to balance them. You just need to find a way to work with yours

Apparently the Vanish is meant to get you out of tight situations, like if you're statused, or you're almost about to be surrounded, without sending you to the PC. With Mew's 3mp, it's really easy to send it out again.
At least I think that's how it's meant to be used, it's never been useful for me

R Kirlia also has the same ability.
But even without them, I find them pretty easy to handle, in the tier I'm in (Elite), I barely ever encounter people actually using them, and whenever I try and use Shuppet in the AI battles, they usually get wrecked. They're definitely good, but pretty easy to handle if you know what you're doing

I would throw some money at this game if it had an actual account system. As it is now, if you ever uninstall the app or have to do an emergency factory reset on your phone, all your data is gone.

The only way to back the data up is to use transfer codes which are annoying as hell to use. That, or contact support and hope you get a timely response. For a game that's constantly connecting to the Internet and its servers, it's baffling they're tying account data to phones instead of just, you know, the accounts.

Pokemon Shuffle has the same system and it's horrible. If you get a new phone, you have to transfer everything over with codes. You can contact support to do it for you if you don't have the codes but it takes days for them to help you.

Does anyone know if nicknames are exclusive? I want to know if I actually got lucky enough to get my real name registered or if anyone can have the same nickname as I do.

Also, how does tagging work? The game says that you can "tag" a Pokemon with a status condition with one of your figures that are nearby, but I can't seem to find an option to do that.

Is there only one Raichu in the game right now? Evolving Pikachu doesn't feel worth it to get two strong attacks to lose Thunder Wave and Quick Attack.

And does Evolution stack? If I evolve from Charmander to Charizard, does Charizard get +20 damage, +2 Stars?
