I did not want it to be a blatant substitute for Steel type, but there certainly some overlapings.

I wanted to keep it ambiguous enough, basically a type that encompasses anything technological or artificially created.

Tech Type!

Weak to Ice, because of "computer" Freeze
Weak to Ghost, because of technology "possession."

Resistant to Electric, because ????
Resistant to Poison, because non-organic. But you can have synthetic organic beings such as Mewtwo.

Supereffective against Fairy, because Fairies hate technology, or basically because artificial its the opposite of nature.
Supereffective against Steel, because ????
