I'm still annoyed they took out the Trainer. Switching between the three starters was an awesome gimmick.

I guess they did it so they could have Greninja in without having an overabundance of starter mons in the game, but I would have rather kept what we had.

Oh I wish. I literally slept and preyed that sceptile would make it into smash. Mostly because I like using grass pokemon regardless of there many fraws. And I barely play smash because y hey don't even have love for grass, but not like grass pokemon. Like they have no characters that had the power of leafs or nature that I like using. And before you mention ivysuar, >I said the ones I like using. And And since ivysuar was the first grass type he kinda disappointed me. Cuz unlike charizard he wasn't rememberable, at least for me. I was expecting for a fully evolved evolved badass grass starter that everyone talks about. Then sceptile happened. He was like a icon to me at that moment. Ever since ash got one I've wanted sceptile to be in smash. And when hoen remakes were coming I instantly extended sceptile to join the party. Since they had a fire and a water type In there already. But for some strange reason they didn't. And now I now he won't. Cuz now hoan is a thing in the past now. And I know Nintendo won't go back to invite him. So now my dream was broken again. And this time there aren't any grass pokemon that will fit smash. I literally gave my hopes up. It was a really dark year for me until. They revealed. Decidueye. He's badass ash has a rowlet. And literally has no ghost types. And with the popularity of the rowlet line gave me new hopes that I'll finally be able to play in smash with my favorite type of starter. And unlike the main pokemon games. He won't be weak to anyone. And it's all in the play. So please Nintendo. I'm begging this time. Please put a grass starter in smash.

Nah, they took him out because they had to do away with transforming characters due to the 3DS, and Sakurai unwilling for their to be character differences between the 3DS and Wii U versions. Same reason they cut Ice Climbers.

Godammit, I liked the Ice Climbers too! Friggin' 3ds version, man, it cost me my main fighters.

If we get a new Smash for the Switch, I hope they bring back some of the cut characters. Mewtwo showed up again, so there's hope. Kinda.

Hm. Who would be the most likely new Smash rep, anyway? Decidueye? He's not terrible...

Since scept lost his best chance to get into smash during smash 4, and K. Rool is fucking dead, I vote Tapu Koko. Important in the games, important in the anime, popular, and a cool looking dude all around. Mimishill is basically a lock, though, which sucks.
