I'll give you the elemental monkey, but Serperior is the most popular starter of the three and fits better (giving Bianca the "cutesy" one and Cheren the other "cool" one)

Also N gets Reshiram because it fits him better, so main character gets Zekrom.

Cheren is more popular, so he gets Serperior. Bianca already gets paired up with Tepig in the anime.

You're given a Dratini in-game after the 8th badge, you can't catch Larvitar until after the Elite Four
Togekiss is the bird on Gold's team, you get Togepi pretty early in Gold and Silver.

Yeah thats true. Togepi is the bird.
Though, Gold travels to Mt Silver to confront Red. Training a Tyranitar is something I always did. Its the seudo, the ultimate prize.

It always triggered me that Red's team is based on Yellow but yet Blue doesn't use his final Yellow team. I understand why they did it but still.

And while it makes absolutely no sense, I suppose it could just be attributed to Leaf. Since we have zero indication of what she could possibly have.
