No need to be that way. Each Pokemon has different role, with different Checks and Counters. Zard's just better at Sweeping with DD, and A-ninja can't stop that. A-ninja acts as a Specs Sweeper, and Zard can't stop that without DD. It doesn't make one better than the other. They're both great Pokemon, being in OU together.
