Half of the illegals come by sea, and with the wall's construction, illegal immigration is bound to be done by sea even more, so we also need to defend our coast, plus pay for the wall's construction ourselves, and then mantain said wall, and defend it from any possible attempts to tresspass it.
Hopefully, that will solve the influx of illegals, but still fails to adress those currently in America. I suppose stricter work visa checks would do it.
It's going to be expensive as fuck, and we'll also need to deal with the job vacuum left by them, particularly how they pay almost nothing, and any citizen capable of defending themselves in a court of law will want better work conditions and pay, which reduces the number of workers companies hire, and that in turn may lower production, forcing companies to outsource to other, less developed countries for cheap labor.
Honestly, I hope Trump does a good job, but let's just say I'm not very optimistic about the odds of that.
