I've seen Sticky Web Smeargle/Kartana/Xurkitree cores picking up steam as pubstompers. It's really fun for me, I'm steamrolling all of them with trick room. So either one of those.

To an extreme extent, Lele is one of the most oppressive forces in the entire game, being able to OHKO a large portion of OU with psychic and providing safe haven for normally easily answerable threats like M-Alakazam and Pheromosa. Fini has started picking up popularity and is subtly cancerous. Koko is fine, I think, it's a good sweeper but not SO oppressive. Bulu is just kind of there.

People are prepared for Ash-Greninja now, so Protean catches people off guard and dunks on Leles and Kokos thinking they can get off an easy kill, along with pretty much everything else due to its incredibly diverse selection of moves.

I've heard that Lele has killed priority so hard that even Pheromosas are running Scarf because everything is running scarf now to deal with how important speed has become again.

That's funny, actually, Pelipper is OU because of it. Rain dance teams are pretty strong right now because of the insane speed creep. Sun is lame, Hail has a niche with Aurora Veil, but weather is mostly dead barring rain.

Z-Fly is popular on Landorus, Z-Solarbeam is popular on Heatran. Z-Parting Shot A-Persian sees some use. It's mostly for the surprise factor, I've seen Electrium-Z on Latios to take stuff like Tapu Fini by surprise.

Scarf Pheromosa is popular because of Beast Boost, not because there's some retarded speed arms race going on. Scarf Phero runs Naughty nature so that it gets an attack boost instead of speed so it can sweep like a Moxie mon.

Scarf Pheromosa is used because it's a good catch-all revenge killer. It reaches around 600 Speed, which is enough to outpace every other Scarfer, and some Swift Swimmers / Dragon Dancers.

There are two reasons for Scarf Pheromosa: one, priority has become kinda unreliable, so Speed is more favourable, and two, we've never had a mon as fast and powerful as Pheromosa before.
